whats new?

so i have bee really busy lately with family stuff and such. i have been price shopping for a few items like fabric for costumes and new living room rugs, the only problem is when i go back to purchase the items a few days later they are gone! so whats my plan B? well i dont have one!? ugh so aggravating! so now i need to find something comparable to purchase in he place of what i wanted and guess what? cant find anything!? so im starting from scratch again and going back to the drawing board to see what i can work with as far as space and colors and whatever i need to make my projects work and try to find them out there somewhere for a good price. i have noticed that the price of fabric in the last 5-10 years have gone up dramatically! a simple yard of fabric hat 10 years ago was around $2.00 is now anywhere between $7.00 and $12.00! if i want to make a simple skirt it will cost less to buy one in the store! even the sale bins are outrageous! its just not worth it anymore. however, i do not know if Wal-marts in other areas still sell fabric because the one in my area did away with its fabric section where $3.oo a yard wasnt impossible! what a disaster!? will i have to settle for Halloween costumes off the shelf this year? i hope not!

on a good note, i have finally gotten book 2 of the Obernewton chronicles! i had to order it from a book store cuz Target isnt carrying them anymore. i will most likely be starting the book tomorrow and if its too good then it will be read all the way through! but if its just good then i will try to spread it out until book 3 gets here.
