so my grandma gave Ave "The Wizard of Oz" book, 1963 copy, for Christmas. i have never read the book but loved the movie and Ave was always frightend of the movie lol. So i finaly started the book with Ave and i read to her just past the Munchkins part and the good witch. i was suprized to read that they were kind of a... mix between gnomes and Smerfs! in all blue and white including the good witch! which by the way the book doesnt say her name is "Glenda" sofar and i doubt it will! just "the witch of the north". oh yeah and "Ruby" slippers? nope SILVER! i kinda like them better in silver! and the whole biginning of the movie doesnt happen in the book :( anyways...lol when i read the next part to Ave ill update you on all the differences then too! haha
